Puppies can be a lot of work and we want them to make the best start in life.

We understand the periods of development for a puppy and the importance of socialisation and training from an early age. Dogs must learn many things, including how to interact with a range of adults, children and other dogs. They also need to be exposed to different sounds, objects and environments in a positive way to ensure they become confident, happy dogs.

Whether it is help with toilet training, biting, chewing, crate training, basic manners or a full puppy program including getting your home ready for your new puppy, Concept Dog Training can help.

 

With a background in leading the Puppy Development Program at Guide Dogs Victoria for 5 years and professionally working with dogs for over 15 years, Drew has overseen the training of hundreds of puppies who will undertake such a vital role for their adulthood assisting those in need.

This is our starter program for those who just need some basic guidance with your new puppy.

We will help guide and support you with any puppy training needs and advice.

 

 

Inclusions:

  • 3 x 1 hour in-home private sessions*

  • Tailored Program

  • Puppy Training Booklet

  • Training information for all puppy behaviours, including crate training

  • Email Support Throughout the Program

Advanced

Looking for a more in-depth level of training and need that little bit more support?

The Advanced Program will guide you even further with more sessions to develop skills both inside and outside your home.

​

Inclusions:

  • 6 x 1 hour in-home private sessions*

  • Tailored Program

  • Puppy Training Booklet

  • Training information for all puppy behaviours, including crate training

  • Email Support Throughout the Program

  • Cover all basic commands 

  • High quality Black Dog treat pouch or Harness or Halti

Complete

This is for those who would like to have support from before your puppy arrives, right up until they are fully developed adolescents. All behaviours are practised in a range of environments with a range of distractions to ensure a focused and happy dog.

 

Inclusions:

  • 9 x 1 hour in-home private sessions*

  • Tailored Program

  • Puppy Training Booklet

  • Training information for all puppy behaviours, including crate training

  • Email Support Throughout the Program

  • Cover all basic commands and even some trick training

  • Advanced training with Recall outisde the home, how to work with distractions and 'proofing' behaviours in different environments

  • High quality Black Dog treat pouch and Walking Harness or Halti

*All sessions to be used within a 6 month period for any program
